When you come to me for individual counselling, you can expect a welcoming and confidential service, where you will be listened to with respect and without judgement. In our first session I will take some practical details from you, and we will talk about what is going on for you and what you would like to see changed in your life. We can then plan in further sessions.
The way we manage challenges in our life is often related to earlier life experiences. The beliefs, thoughts and feelings we have developed in response to this can inhibit us from feeling happy and fulfilled. In therapy I will help you work through any areas in your life where you feel “stuck” and where you experience problems. I will help you develop a greater understanding of yourself, and help you change your perspective on the issues in your life, so you can move on and manage your problems in a different and more positive way.
